Temporary colours – Including fashion mascara wands, coloured mousses and lotions which only last until the next shampoo.
Semi-permanent colour – Will last for between 8-12 washes depending on the porosity of the hair. Stylists condition the hair and you can be as daring or as natural as you like.
Quasi colour – Will last between 12-24 washes, will cover some grey-requires a skin test
Permanent colour – This colour will cover grey and can be as bold or as subtle as you like, you will need a skin test if the colour is to be applied all over the head.
Highlights and Lowlights – Highlights and lighter pieces of colour applied throughout the hair and lowlights are generally darker or a change of tone. A highlighting cap or other tools such as a spatula, peigne meche, easi-meche and foil can be used.
Colour Correction – Removing previous colour pigment from your hair, before secondly adding and correcting the colour back to how it should be giving results you originally wanted.
Colour Combination – Combination of colours used.
Skin test required 48 hours prior to colour services.
